Registration

    Guidelines for Trader registration and trading on UMP (Unified Market Platform):

  1.             1. Trader’s willing to trade agricultural commodities in any APMC of Karnataka can obtain license from the concerned district Additional/Deputy Director of                 Agriculture Marketing.
  2.             2. Application for license has to be applied for a minimum period of 1 year and a maximum period of 10 years.
  3.             3. Documents required for registration.
    1.                         a. " Form 37A“ (FORM37A.pdf) along with all the documents mentioned in the form.
    2.                                      - *DD for the Registration fee @Rs.200/- per year.
                                             *Bank Guarantee (Bankguarantee.pdf) for Rs.1000/- (On Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.100/-)
    3.                                      -  Bank details: Name of the Bank, type of the bank account, account number, branch, IFS Code. (Certificate from the bank to be furnished).
    4.                                      -  Self attested photo copy of the Pan card
    5.                                      -  Self attested photo copy of G.S.T. Registration
    6.                                      -  Address Proof (Telephone bill/electricity bill etc.)
    7.                         b. Undertaking in “Form No: 65” (FORM65.pdf) on Non-Judicial stamp paper of Rs.100.
    8.                         c. Status of the applicant: Individual/Partnership Firm/ Company -copy of the deed/ -copy of the incorporation certificate, Memorandum and Articles                              of Association.
                                 *DD drawn and Bank guarantee in favour of Additional Director/ Deputy Director of the district in which the APMC is situated or Director of                              Agriculture Marketing, Bengaluru, in case of traders outside the state
  4.             4. Submit Application along with the above documents to the Additional Director (AD) or Deputy Director (DD), Agriculture Marketing of the district                              concerned
  5.             5. In case of aspirant traders from other States can send their applications to the Director, Department of Agricultural Marketing, Bangalore.
  6.             6. After scrutiny, eligible applicants will be issued with the Trader license.
  7.             7. After obtaining the license, Additional Director (AD) or Deputy Director (DD) will provide User Id and Password to perform transactions in the portal
  8.             8. Thereafter traders can perform transactions in UMP portal. URL:- https://ka54.remsl.in/UMPeMandi/

THE ORGANISATION

Government of Karnataka had constituted a committee under the chairmanship of the Additional Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department to explore means to improve the agricultural marketing system, identify the interventions required in the sector and suggest necessary reforms.
